Lactation Consultant Organisations (Private Practice)

An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a healthcare professional who specialises in supporting breastfeeding and lactation.  They assess feeding challenges, help parents with latch and positioning, manage milk supply issues and provide guidance for concerns such as pain, infant weight gain or special medical situations.  IBCLCs use evidence based practices to support families in meeting their feeding goals and often work in hospitals, clinics or private practice.
